The Be Attitudes
In Matthew 5, Jesus gives us truths that if applied to our attitude will help us climb to higher altitudes in God. This is a a great video illustrating these life-changing foundational principles found in the pages of God’s Word.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The first challenge.
50 Times
I came across a post online about this 90 year old professor who had memorized a lot of Scripture throughout his lifetime. His secret? Read a passage out loud 50 times.
If you started today, read aloud through Philippians once a day for 50 days, spent the following 15 days doing the rote-memory thing, reviewed for another 25 days, you could have all of Philippians memorized in three or four months by only spending a relatively painless 15 minutes a day doing it. Wouldn’t that be amazing?!
